I think we are ready to vote here. The point is if we do not pass this amendment, we are going to hear from our private sector businesses who will be treated unfairly, who will lost their opportunity to compete with the public sector in a constructive way, and we are going to wind up having to change this bill down the road when we realize the unintended consequences of this legislation. So, I would urge my colleagues to treat the public and private sector alike, to approve this amendment, and then to pass a responsible version of the unfunded mandates legislation.
