I thank my very, very good friend from Massachusetts. Madam Speaker, what troubles me with this debate, and I would particularly address myself to my colleagues on the other side of the aisle, is that we took two votes yesterday. One was to provide coverage for ourselves; the next really to deny it to our constituents. That I find troubling, because we all have the right for guaranteed coverage regardless of preexisting conditions. We have a choice of easy-to- compare health insurance plans. We have coverage for early retirees. Women have equal premium coverage. We have access to affordable care; low-cost preventive service. All of these things for ourselves but then voted to deny it to our constituents. I find that troubling.
