We have to fix this problem, gentlemen. Members of Congress are incredibly frustrated, and it is because our constituents are incredibly frustrated.

Forcing progressive ideology on our service members threatens to degrade the morale, camaraderie, and effectiveness of our armed forces.

However, Congress' authority over the power of the purse is a tremendous responsibility, and we owe it to our constituents to exercise that power judiciously.

It is unconstitutional and, again, demands that kind of accountability, and that is what I want this Committee to address.
