Leadership is not proved by a mere whirling across the public stage in a burst of glib oratory.
Our unity as a nation is sustained by free communication of thought and by easy transportation of people and goods.
No petty differences of any kind can ever tear apart these two great countries.
It never even occurred to me to make that as one of the basic issues--what to do with Mr. Khrushchev.
