Bob Dole: We had 39 yesterday, and now we have 34 so I do not know-- unless there are some that have not been properly cataloged…

On the recordJanuary 25, 1995
We had 39 yesterday, and now we have 34 so I do not know-- unless there are some that have not been properly cataloged on our side that have been disposed of. But we still have 34 amendments after 11 days on a bill. We were told last week that there were maybe 30 amendments. Then we got up to 67, and 49, and now we are down to 34, 3 days later. So if that is progress, it is very slow progress. But, again, it is up to our colleagues. If they want to spend Saturday here, that is fine with me.
