I want to thank you so much for taking the time to be here.

when I graduated from college, you could basically work an entire summer and wind up paying off about half what your tuition was.

If I cannot win a fair game, that is on me. But if I wind up in a situation where it is being manipulated against my company, it makes it awful tough to keep those workers working and to keep our economy growing.

If it is a fair field, we will do fine. But if the game is rigged, I do not know how we win that kind of game.

I just want to try to make sure that we can get that wonderful opportunity without basically saddling yourself for years and years as you look ahead.

those dollars are dollars that are never used to go to a restaurant, never used to maybe buy a car, never used to travel somewhere.

I think it's absolutely critical.

I think President Ghani, the National Unity Government, is on the way to doing that.

We are a wealthy society. We can afford to defend ourselves and we can afford to take care of the people who need help in our society.

We have come a tremendously long way, but we want to make sure it does not slip back.

What are the things we need to do to give them long-term confidence that they should be betting on our side as opposed to the Taliban?

What did we miss, or did we know and were not able to stop it? What happened?

I would not support such a concession given the strategic value of the base.

I think the people of the country want a better answer than that when you're talking about the people we're dealing with.

What are we going to do with this person? Would we--we hope for the best, but we plan for the worst.

I think we need an answer at that point, thank you.

When we look foreign and we look at the challenges we have in the nuclear area in regards to submarine warfare, one of my greatest concerns is the efforts to attack us, cyber-wise, to find out our technology.

We need to make sure that our soldiers, our warfighters when they come home have the resources necessary.

We lost 479 young men and women to suicide in 2013 who were in the military.

I want to make sure that you are willing to work on eliminating that stigma.

We need you to help in this humanitarian crisis.

I would also encourage you to keep in mind some of the unique challenges that our female servicemembers face every single day.
