In response to the resolutions of the Senate dated December 20, 1892, and January 5, 1893, respectively, I transmit herewith a report from the Secretary of State of the 10th instant.
To the Senate of the United States:In compliance with a resolution of the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring, I return herewith the bill (S. 2625) entitled \An act to provide for the punishment of offenses on the high seas.\
We have not stipulated in the treaty that we will permit merchandise to be moved through Canadian territory from one point of the United States to another at the will of the shipper
He has steadily grown in the public esteem, and the impartial historian will not fail to recognize the conscientiousness, the manliness, and the courage that so strongly characterized his whole public career.
