Today, I am calling for immediate intervention and a thorough, transparent investigation into injuries and deaths at Miami Correctional.

We must ensure no taxpayer dollars contribute to human rights violations or anyone's death--most especially an American abroad.

Haitian immigrants have found a home in Indianapolis and communities across the country – and they deserve to stay here.

I am also calling for accountability of any officials whose actions or failure to act contributed to these deaths and injuries.
