The problem is that they have read it as parental consent. Ours is parental notification. The gentlewoman has used ``consent'' during the course of the argument. I am sure that is the way they phrased it.

I respectfully urge you to act so that the bill can be enacted into law very soon as it needs to be in the interests of our great nation.
