Only you have the power to move us forward.

Those who attacked us sought to deprive our Nation of the very ideals for which we stand—but in the aftermath of this tragedy, the American people kept alive the virtues and values that make us who we are and who we must always be.

We need to come together to make America a place where hard work is rewarded and anyone willing to put in the effort can make it if they try.

I will only send you into harm's way when it is absolutely necessary.

As more Afghans step up, more of our troops will come home.

On Labor Day, we celebrate their vital role and reaffirm that America will always stand behind our workers.

We will continue to work with leaders to encourage the 11 remaining states approve the Compact and become members of MIC3.

The United States is also requesting an explanation from Hungary regarding its decision to transfer Safarov to Azerbaijan.
