We don’t want to be in the situation where Oregon was, where you have to have a special session of the Legislature, so we will continue to work with the Legislature.

Brad Jay Little is the 33rd Governor of Idaho, having taken office on January 7, 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the Lieutenant Governor of Idaho from 2009 to 2019. During his tenure as governor, Little has focused on issues such as public safety, education, and economic development in the state. He has been vocal about supporting first responders and has addressed various challenges facing Idaho, including natural disasters and community safety.
Paying for anything with deficiency warrants is not my preferred way, because we know what our fixed costs are going to be.
