I do not see any leadership, yesterday or today, as far as submitting an honest proposal before Congress.
we need to get some answers as to what the real substantial proposals are, how we are going to pay for them, and how the taxpayer is going to be affected.
the first stimulus bill was a one-time shot in the arm by the administration, and I think they botched it by not focusing on what was needed or what could be done.
the administration didn't propose a budget for 2012. They really proposed a lot of pie in the sky, a pipe-dream concept paper for what you would love to see in a reauthorization bill.

For the first time since the Budget Act was passed in 1974, 35 years ago, there was no budget last year.
there was a failure to govern, even with 250 some members in the House and at one point 60 Senators in the United States Senate in control of the White House.
