I would like to see a balanced budget amendment go to the states.

I might just challenge the president and the Democrat: Are you opposed to a balance budget? It's what it takes to get this Congress responsible.

What it does is, it takes the $31 billion in cuts from the Ryan budget and reduces them down to $7 billion is all.

So, logical solutions can't be applied because illogical people won't go along with it.

And my view is that the Affordable Care Act has a whole series of upward risks on the budgetary side that make the possibility of that crisis much higher.

That is the part that grates on me the worst.
