We know that those numbers have gone--the deaths have all been in the thousands, and it is tragic down there.

It seems that there are people here politically that are willing to accept a significantly high level of fraud without an urgency to fix it.

We should first put the principle, it is the church's principle, of life first.

The value of the drugs are up.

I remember John Ashcroft testifying before this Committee on a broader group of those who failed to appear, and his number that day some years ago was 84 percent are alien absconders.

Twenty percent fail to appear?

What if the President declared war? What if he assumed that authority?

But can he regulate commerce, for example?

If the people come to believe that the Government is no longer constrained by the laws, then they will conclude that neither are they.

I just imagine that that can be done, and the testimony here tells me that it can.

I'm not one that said I'll never vote to raise the debt ceiling but I think it should be comparable to the issues we have.

This is a spiteful decision that was ordered from the White House.

I can look at the polls every single month since Obamacare passed and in every single month the public has been in opposition to Obamacare.

The people have elected the House of Representatives to shut off all funding to implement or enforce Obamacare.

The clear letter of the law is it shall be implemented in each month following December of 2013.
