David Loebsack: “Iowans are right to be outraged when their taxpayer dollars are misspent.”

Today, I ask that the Committee consider including a provision in WRDA 2020 so that low income communities such as those served by RRWA have first rights to remaining water supply storage in their regions at a reduced rate.

In many rural areas, the business case to build out broadband is very difficult, if not impossible.

Our responsibility is to make sure that Americans have reliable service everywhere and we do need to make sure that that access isn't being unfairly blocked or slowed down or degraded.

Net neutrality, obviously, is a very important issue with this committee--I think for the country, and I am really glad that we are taking action today or at least beginning that process.
