If these actions continue, they will do reparable harm to the economy in my State and other States especially in corn and soybean country.
Net neutrality, obviously, is a very important issue with this committee--I think for the country, and I am really glad that we are taking action today or at least beginning that process.
As a representative of a rural district--not as big as some of them but nonetheless pretty darn big, 12 to 13,000 square miles, 24 counties--where coverage can often be dismal or nonexistent, I get around my district all the time.
We have gotten bipartisan support to do something about the USF and to reform it so that we really can bring that service to folks in theses rural areas.
