That is absolutely not the case. There is no way, under the Chambliss-Kyl amendment, anyone, anybody who is here illegally and who gets a blue card by virtue of the employer of that individual requesting the blue card, ever becomes anything other than a temporary resident of this country. Under our law--and we maintain current law--under current law, there is no way someone who is in this country on a temporary basis can ever apply for a green card--and can never apply for citizenship.
