We have talked about how much work has gone into this bill--not days, not weeks, not months, but even years in trying to get here. I want to say what I said when I began, which is, when Democrats controlled every single lever of government, they could not get a bill like this done. When Republicans controlled every single lever of government, we failed to get a bill like this done. Today, with the leadership of Bill Shuster and Mr. DeFazio, we are getting that done. But it is not just at the Member level. And I want to associate all of the hard staff work that goes into making something like this happen, Mr. Speaker.
