I really have to commend the FDA on that and realizing the desire and need for new antibiotics and acting quickly to implement the program.

Our Secretary of State has made it abundantly clear to me that this amendment is not necessary, and that the EAC indeed has outlived its usefulness.

I assure you that there is a plan. There may be a few people in this town that want to pretend that there is no plan. But there is.

Paul, I would just like to say that I think a great part of the legacy of your Speakership has been showing civility and character, and I truly mean that. I think everybody in this Chamber would agree with that. We applaud you for that.
