Well, I think you always have to look at the danger of conflicts of interest with anybody. But at the same time, I would say that one of the virtues of being as wealthy as he is, is he hardly needs to rig the game.
We should not interfere directly with home rule. Those of us who visit and who come here only for the purpose of representing our communities do not have the knowledge and do not have the right to micromanage the daily lives of the people…
One of the most successful programs in the last 50 years in terms of social policy changes was that bipartisan welfare reform.
