Without an overhaul, this Congress could be condemning Americans to a cycle of poverty from which they cannot escape.

I urge this committee to swiftly vote to repeal QM and to return all Americans to their economic freedom.

It is my fundamental belief that we have local solutions to local problems, and that is one of the reasons I am such a big supporter of expanding the Moving to Work Program.

I suggest that you get out of Washington and that you go into some of these States and that you talk to some of these people.
