Thank you for the opportunity to testify today on developing a coordinated and sustainable United States strategy toward Somalia.
Just a question out of curiosity. We talk about a coordinated policy for us to support the temporary government that has been formed in Somalia.
I take it that the two organizations--the two terrorist organizations, al-Shabaab and the other that you mentioned--really play on the nationalist pride of the Somali people.
We believe that it is important to do as much as we possibly can to support this TFG government as one of the last opportunities for bringing about stability in that country.
