I think it is interesting to point out that the tax simplification bill of 1986 was 491 pages long. This bill is 1,392 pages long, and I do not know too many people who do their own taxes. We have tax simplification, and yet many of the smartest business people I know right now have to go to an accountant, and so do the slower ones, such as me.
