“I believe there absolutely is. I think the first step on that, though, is to analyze the 37 million uninsured, and then realize upon that analysis that 70 percent of the 37 million will get their health care replaced within a year. That is a revolving number, they are people in between jobs, college students who have not got their permanent career path going. I am not ignoring that, but the fact is that 70 percent of them will be insured within the year. Look at the 30 percent, the chronic uninsured. That is where we need to attack our problem, the people who have multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, the folks who are minimum wage workers, $5-an-hour employees, that is who we should focus on. Let us correct that problem before we go and throw the baby out with the bath water that the Clinton plan does.”
