I want to say finally, prior to September 11, 70 percent of Americans surveyed said that they pray regularly. After September 11, 97 percent. America has gotten back down on its knees, and I am glad that we have an administration that acknowledges the role of religion and spiritual matters in their decisionmaking.

What Mr. McCain did to the Republican Party today is a guy who was the standard bearer in '08, somebody I worked for, somebody that all of us have worked for at one time or another. You know, he let us down, he let us down as a party.
