I thought we were together, on a bipartisan basis, on the IRS reform. I had no idea that the administration was going to defend the IRS and try to make tax reform a partisan issue. But I will say this. If it is a partisan issue, the Republican Party is going to be on the side of the American taxpayer for simplicity and clarity, and let the President defend his 111,000 IRS employees.
