If we do not stop doing that, if we do not stop politicizing this issue, we are never going to get to the point where we can resolve the problem. I would point out that the gentleman from Georgia mentioned a constituent of mine in Dublin, GA. She is from my district and I was very proud of her for her commentary, but I also want to remind the gentleman that Dr. Dowling from Valdosta, GA, yes, he is a principal of a school but he is also a father of five or six children, and one of his quotes that has stuck with me since the day we were down there is that he said, and I quote, 'I firmly believe that school improvement can only be achieved in the classroom.' I think many of us come to this discovery process with that bias. It is true. I believe that we ought to send back the responsibility for education, not just the classroom but the parents and the teachers.
