I think it is probably important at this time to remind the Members that this debate and this bill is very narrowly tailored. It is H.R. 2731, the Occupational Safety and Health Small Employer Access to Justice Act. It is just this simple: If you have working families in your district that are running small businesses, we are trying to give them an equal playing field, a level playing field with the Federal Government. If you have a district where there is no small business, then you do not have to worry about this. It will not matter how you vote. But I ask all of my colleagues to level the playing field so little people have a little chance against the Federal Government and OSHA when they come down with all their battery of lawyers.
