I have a bill that I have introduced every Congress, and I will be introducing again I believe this week or next, which is a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution that requires Congress to balance within 10 years.
I think we need a Constitutional amendment to force us to do that, and I think we can get there.
Look, as I have said before in other hearings, transparency and accountability are important to the American people.
I have heard from constituents myself they are afraid to get involved in politics, and this has just come about in the last 3 to 4 years.
