I was torn when President Trump ordered those Tomahawk missiles in there because I was a strong opponent of President Obama going in there.

I don't want America to have to do this alone but after 5 years of slaughter over there and pushing 500,000 people.

My goal is that we have an enforcement mechanism that has teeth behind it because that is the only way I could justify what President Trump did.

I truly believe that was for national pride. It was a leap of faith and a giant step for mankind that the whole world benefited from.

If we look at the past activity of people of nations, we can predict future actions.

This is an utter capitulation to China in return for basically nothing and certainly nothing that has made us safer.

I think we are at a point in this country--and this is something we have talked about on this committee--to develop a rare earth national security policy for the United States.

I think we need to have that policy.

I think we need to rally this Nation. Through leadership is the only way that we are going to go back and do the things we used to do, of exploring space and going on to that next frontier.

They need to be held accountable.

We are told it doesn't matter. Well, it does, because every billion dollar trade deficit translates into losing 10,000 jobs.
