Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
If history teaches anything, it teaches that simpleminded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly.
We need to go after Mahan and we are going after general service providers and third parties, imposing secondary sanctions.
We have sanctioned 212 Russia-related individuals and entities and we have targeted key sectors of their economy.
The Iranian rial is now trading somewhere around 140,000 to the dollar. It's lost more than two-thirds of its value.
What we have done is--this committee and I think this committee has been great at passing bipartisan legislation to give you guys tools, and we are separate branches of government but yet we can work coherently together to accomplish that…
Are we going after the bigger ones? Because secondary sanctions are some of the most powerful tools that we can have.
We are not faltering on the economic pressure campaign. We are not stepping away from this one iota.
Without question, we are playing a winning hand with strong sanctions and we can't back off, and we are in a different situation now that I want to address.
If we are going to bring the North Korea conflict to an end peacefully, we need all people at the table.
