I think that the administration ought to look into this and we ought to do everything possible to make sure that people know that in the United States it truly is a place to be free.

Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
The CCP's--the Chinese Communist Party's--actions are transparently seeking to destroy normal Islamic religious practices, the Uyghur culture and language, and even the genetic concentration of Uyghur heritage in the Xinjiang.
I also urge the swift passage of the BURMA Act, legislation that Ranking Member Engel and I wrote to apply sanctions on those individuals responsible for these horrific crimes.
So, I don't think we can solve this but at least we can have moral authority in the world and we can say we are not doing business with you and we are going to sanction you.
I plan to introduce a resolution condemning the Burmese Government's crimes and their efforts to suppress information about those crimes and to call it what it is--what it was--and that's genocide.
We have the responsibility as representatives of Americans killed by these groups to not stand idly by.
If Iraq is ever going to become a strong and independent nation, we must take a stand against Iranian proxies in that nation.
If history teaches anything, it teaches that simpleminded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly.
