Ted Yoho is a former U.S. Representative from Florida, serving in the House from January 3, 2013, to January 3, 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Yoho represented Florida's 3rd congressional district. During his time in office, he was known for his focus on issues such as healthcare, agriculture, and fiscal responsibility. Yoho was also a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which advocates for limited government and conservative principles.
I find it interesting that partners in the Middle East weren't at the table. Israel wasn't at the table. The Saudis weren't at the table. And they don't want the deal, but yet we are going ahead with the deal.
When I look at them sponsoring the assassination attempt of the Saudi Ambassador on our homeland, would it be safe to say, especially when their leaders have been for years, saying 'Death to America,' 'Death to Israel,' would you consider…
I don't see this as a good deal, and I think we should walk away from the table.
We are hoping to create the demand, because we are going to introduce a Caribbean crude export ban lift just for the Caribbean Basin and Mexico for the exports of petroleum products and increase that demand so it will increase more people…
We need to engage the financial system to deprive both the bad guys, but also corrupt politicians.
If we could come together and had that consortium, that would help Mexico, I would think, project.
With the economic sanctions in place, in fact they are so tough that Iran was starving. You know, people were having all these hard times. But while they were doing that, they were funding Hezbollah, they were funding Hamas.
Is there anything that is being held up in that program or that needs to be expedited?
Somewhere the cycle has to be brought--and I am all for helping people get into a system, get them educated, get them to move beyond that so that we break that cycle.
I appreciate you all being here to discuss this so we can reform the nutrition program so we get the best benefit for the end-user, and that the American taxpayers' dollars go to wise use.
