It is very incumbent on us in Congress to pave a path forward for American commercial enterprise to compete with China's rapid technological development.
We need to ensure that the regulatory processes, in fact, support innovation and don't hamper that or get in the way.
The Federal Government should play a supportive role in this by ensuring that the regulatory process does not inhibit innovation with overly burdensome regulations.
