I don't think that is accurate. They may be vacant, but there are thousands that are underutilized.

John Mica is a former U.S. Representative who served Florida's 7th congressional district from 1993 to 2017. A member of the Republican Party, Mica was known for his work on transportation and infrastructure issues, playing a significant role in shaping policies related to these areas during his tenure. He was also involved in various legislative efforts aimed at improving the economy and supporting local businesses in Florida. So, today I am introducing a bill to transfer that, and working with the south Florida and the Florida delegation to transfer the damn building and get it out of, again, the deficit column of the taxpayers.
I think this is an appropriate time to start again refocusing... and looking at the Federal Government's bulging inventory of judiciary overbuilt Taj Mahals is long overdue.
I feel sorry for the board of governors because with the CR we didn't provide the flexibility and the authority.
How the hell are they building these things exceeding the guidelines established and what is set in law?
nobody here should be under the illusion that Congress abdicated its authority and gave the President discretion of where to cut
it seems to me what we are dealing with here is a massive act of legislative malpractice
Again, we have made some progress in accounting and some progress in paying down debt and lessening some of the subsidies.
The problem is sometimes Congress, in that it sets up the parameters by which Amtrak operates.
We should do it as efficiently as possible, particularly in a time of taxpayer losses.
the Administration, unfortunately, has gone around touting the alleged harmful consequences of sequestration. Some of them are over the top.
