Frederica Smith Wilson is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 24th congressional district since 2010. A member of the Democratic Party, she has been an advocate for education, healthcare, and social justice issues throughout her tenure in Congress. Like the young lady from Miami Gardens, and so many other Floridians, borrowers are experiencing extraordinary hardships because their monthly payments are not enough to cover accruing interest.
