Frederica Wilson: “I am so grateful and proud of the impact AmeriCorps has made not only to my district, but across the country.”

“Following left eye surgery, my priority has been ensuring a full and responsible recovery.

Long before I served in Congress, I stood in classrooms filled with children whose futures depended on whether the people in power cared enough to act.

“Serving the people of Florida’s 24th Congressional District has been the work of my entire adult life.

Protecting someone’s vision protects their ability to work, care for their family, and move through the world on their own terms," said Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24).
