Bill Nelson is an American politician and attorney who served as a United States Senator from Florida from 2001 to 2019. Lifeline has helped connect millions of Americans to services--like voice communications and broadband.
We must redouble our collective efforts to rid and insulate this program from waste, fraud, and abuse.
The report should not be used as a political tool to eliminate the program or undercut its successes.
Turning on the plumbing and reversing that requires sustained commitment from the Federal and the state government.
That moratorium is the only place in the entire outer continental shelf of the United States that is off limits to oil rigs, and it's off limits until the year 2022.
