It is not cheap. It costs us billions of dollars to build a new nuclear power plant. But they are pretty good in terms of how much carbon dioxide they put out.

I want to reflect briefly on a couple of comments that were made. I thought Senator Crapo said a lot of things that I agreed with.

I want to applaud the Administration's proposal for an 18-month extension of SAFETEA-LU.

I think some increase in the Federal gasoline tax would be an important component of that investment.

I believe that we must increase our Nation's investment in transportation.

I am very proud to be a co-sponsor with him of that legislation.
