The science is clear: Climate change is here, and these costly extreme weather events are continuing to worsen.

The crisis is here now, and we are increasingly feeling its impact, especially in the form of extreme weather events like heat waves.

Carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies are not the only answer to climate change, but must be part of the climate solutions.

Making sure that resources are in place and that we have a plan to be able to move these projects forward is absolutely essential.

We have to invest in that.

I spent a lot of years of my life--I ran for office as a Naval Flight Officer (NFO) and was a midshipman before that, and learned a whole lot about leadership, and I learned a lot about morale, how to foster good morale in the military.

Whenever I fly, and I fly a fair amount--I mostly take trains but I fly a lot--and almost always when I am going through security I talk to the TSA agents and thank them for what they do.
