I believe that in today's technologically driven world, states and school districts throughout the country had the opportunity to use these new technologies to improve academic achievement.

I have an abiding concern what the Federal Government is doing in this area versus what the States are doing.

What should we in the Federal Government be doing versus what the States are doing?

We must remain mindful of these trying economic times, and ensure all federal funds for education technology serve a purpose.
