Every part of our country is seeing the impacts of climate change, from the devastating wildfires ravaging the West, to the rising sea levels and higher temperatures right here in my home State of Delaware.

It is great that it is a bipartisan bill. Delighted that it passed in the Senate.

I have a bipartisan bill with Mr. Walberg and also our subcommittee's own Mr. Hudson, the Stop Senior Scams Act.

The last thing any American needs is to have to worry about scammers.

And I have always believed that there is an inextricable link between the environment in which people live and their health.

Not only are mental health issues a crisis in our country, we couple that with an economic crisis.

2020 is a defining year for our democracy. Facebook and the other platforms have a responsibility to the country to get their act together and to be a part of the solution and not the problem.

But right now with the current pandemic and the high unemployment rate, it is an absolute crisis.

I am working on legislation to look at health consequences of law enforcement violence on communities of color.

Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

Until we start dealing with root issues, until we start really having courageous conversations with each other.
