Putin's war was premeditated and unprovoked. He rejects efforts to diplomacy.

When dictators do not pay a price for their aggression, they cause more chaos. They keep moving the cost and threats to America and the world keep rising.

Zelensky was born to a Jewish family in central Ukraine. He went from playing an unlikely President on a popular TV show and actor to getting elected Ukraine`s real president with 73% of the vote.

You don`t need experience to be president, you just need to be a decent human being.

Let's stop looking at COVID-19 as a partisan dividing line.

I was expressing the moral outrage I felt toward the way Putin is dealing, and the actions of this man, just -- just the brutality of it, half the children in Ukraine.

For too long, our government, our courts haven’t looked like America. And I believe it’s time that we have a court reflects the full talents and greatness of our nation.

Putin is the aggressor. Putin chose this war and now he and his country will bear the consequences.

The generational struggle was going to be between democracy and autocracy.

This is the beginning of a Russian invasion of Ukraine, who in the Lord`s name does Putin think gives him the right to declare new so called countries on territory that belonged whose neighbors.

I`m looking forward to making sure there`s a black woman on the Supreme Court to make sure we in fact get every representation. Not a joke. Not a joke.

Putin has ambitions beyond Ukraine.

This is a spectacular nomination by the president.

For too long, our government and our courts have not looked like America. I believe it is time that we have a court that reflects the full talents, and greatness of our nation, with a nominee of extraordinary qualifications.

Today is historic for a lot of reasons, most especially that she will be the first Black woman nominated, and I hope swiftly confirmed to the court.

The United States and our Allies and partners will emerge from this stronger, more united, more determined, and more purposeful.

Putin’s actions betray his sinister vision for the future of our world—one where nations take what they want by force.

This aggression cannot go unanswered. If it did, the consequences for America would be much worse. America stands up to bullies. We stand up for freedom. This is who we are.
