I fear so deeply, however, that what we can do here cannot even begin to touch or make a dent in the problem that has created Columbine High's tragedy. It is a problem that is close to home, close to home for all of us. We must look in the mirror, every single one of us, for the real reason, for the real answer here, because we have created a culture in which a generation at least has grown up without the ability to look at life through the same sort of eyes that many other generations have, and without the ability to actually have a sense of worth, of value.
