When we go back to Washington, we are going to certainly look into this issue about veterans being able to access alternative care within the Choice Program.

Thank you Chairman Benishek for holding this legislative hearing and including my legislation that would authorize the Department of Veterans Affairs to sell Pershing Hall.

It seems odd that VA should consider the sale of domestic VA property while the sale of a hotel in Paris is off limits.

My bill provides VA the authority to sell Pershing Hall and it requires an independent real estate assessment of the property prior to any sale to ensure taxpayers receive the fair market value.

I do not think our veterans that have returned from war can wait for the VA to reform itself.

I think that those victims of Military Sexual Trauma ought to be able to choose the best treatment options available in their specific case rather than having it dictated to them.
