The nations of Vietnam and Timor-Leste are important partners for the U.S. in the Asia-Pacific region.

If confirmed, I will work closely with Ambassador Hutchison and our Allies to ensure that commitments at the Warsaw Summit and Brussels Conference are met, and that NATO contributes robustly to the success of the new U.S. strategy.
