Judge Shedd is a man of impeccable character who will make an outstanding addition to the Federal appellate bench. He possesses the highest sense of integrity, a thorough knowledge of the law, and a good judicial temperament. These qualifications have earned Judge Shedd widespread respect and bipartisan support in my home State of South Carolina.
