I will be more than happy and willing to sit down with the different Members who have these roads in their districts, in their States, and other Members from other parts of the country to try to work out a compromise that everyone could live with. This is not something that the gentleman should be dealing with on the appropriations bill every year. I would be more than happy to sit down with the Members and try to work out a rational, balanced compromise so that we are not back here next year with a similar amendment.
