the President under the law cannot. You want him to break the law twice. He has been ordered by the judge to pay the fine. It is only us who can prevent it. So I am offering you the chance again. Let us prevent it. You and I right now, before we go home for dinner, we can solve this.

I happen to be a fan of his bill to get rid of this idea that if a physician doesn't take Medicare, they are out of the system for 2 years.
I can count on maybe one hand the Democrats who support vouchers or similar proposals.
I strongly agree with that and yet, here we are where repealing the ACA without a replacement as the Republicans have already begun to do, would cost roughly $350 billion through 2027.
I dislike the notion that we need to increase costs for beneficiaries in order to fix the physician payment system.
