In April, the House of Representatives passed the Violence Against Women Act, which included many key provisions to protect Native American women.

My hope is that we can understand the root causes, if we can get there, of these persistent challenges.

Many students came to this school for a quality, culturally relevant education in a safe environment.

I encourage my colleagues that we do not shift away from the primary focus, which is the education of children.
